A gifted pediatrician, teacher, and administrator, Dr. Boyd has been involved in the plans for creating McLane Children’s Hospital Scott & White from its beginnings in 2009. Ms. Hansen’s entire three-decade-long career in healthcare has been dedicated to providing exceptional care to children. She is excited to help create the “next great free-standing children’s hospital” where everyone works together in a holistic approach to caring for each child.

Travis L. Smith, MBA/MHA, CHFP Senior Director, Hospital Finance

Mr. Smith oversees all hospital operations that are not related to clinical care, including finances. He is focused on creating an environment at McLane Children’s Hospital where family members are able to support their sick child and help that child heal faster. Mr. Smith is a fifth-generation Temple resident and welcomes the opportunity to contribute to a healthcare community from which he and his family have benefited.

Dell Ingram-Walker, MBA, Outpatient Services Administrator

A passion to make a difference in the lives of children is what inspires Ms. Ingram-Walker, who has worked at Scott & White for more than 14 years. She provides leadership for Outpatient Services, which includes the oversight of day-to-day operations in seven local and regional clinics. As a mom herself, she knows the importance of having a hospital close by that is completely devoted to taking the best care of children. As a military spouse, she says her family has stayed in Central Texas over the years because it is a great place to work and raise a family. Ms. Ingram-Walker has a Bachelor of Science degree in Healthcare Management from the University of Alabama and an MBA from Texas A&M University-Central Texas.
